Iona is a Veterinary nurse and has worked in small and mixed practice in Derry, Cavan and Meath since graduating from Letterkenny IT in 2011.

She joined Flynn & O’Connell Veterinary surgeons in September 2022. She also worked as a chef before working permanently as a Veterinary Nurse.

Iona has a keen interest in surfing, gym, music and is studying marine biology part time.

She has 3 dogs and a rabbit at home.
