Vets cover check ups, treat against mastitis, milk fever, grass tetany, this time of year- spring being especially busy in the maternity ward with lambings and calvings, some which are delivered through caesarian section. Vets are on call through the night and day non stop until Spring is over. 
They carry out a range of diagnostics such as scanning, blood collection for testing on johness, leptospirosis, salmonella, IBR and many more. They also carry out dehorning and squeezing of bullocks, vaccinations, TB testing, herd health plans.
